Congratulations to Justin Ware for being named MZHS STAR Student for the 2022-2023 school year! Justin chose Mr. Adam Watts as his STAR Teacher.

MZHS FBLA attended the 2022 Fall Leadership Conference at the beautiful Athens Classic Center on November 16, 2022. Several schools across the state of Georgia were in attendance, as well as Career, Technical and Agricultural Education (CTAE) representatives. The conference consisted of a dynamic opening session in which the speaker–a UGA graduate and practicing attorney– shared his personal story to emphasize using service and education as a vehicle to drive students to achieve success. In addition to the general session, students attended three leadership training workshops and received certificates of participation. The ambitious students pictured below have exemplified key leadership qualities and several of the students will go on to compete and represent our school at the region conference in January, 2023. The adviser is Mrs. Tewanna Brown.
