Subjects Taught
American Government, Biology, Economics, Special Education, U.S. History

I graduated from Bowdon High School in 2000.  I graduated from the University of West Georgia in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in History, with a Minor in Secondary Education.  I continued my education and graduated from Jacksonville State University in 2008 with a Master of Secondary Education, with a Concentration in History.

I have taught at MZHS for my entire career thus far.  I am certified to teach Government, Economics, World History, U.S. History, and Psychology for grades six through twelve.  I hold a Special Education certification as well, therefore I have also been a co-teacher in the Math, ELA, and Science departments during my time at MZHS. The 2017-18 school year will be my first year serving as the ISC for the special education services department.

This is my eleventh year at MZHS teaching Social Studies.  I am married to Sara Howle and have two fantastic children, Cooper and Reagan.  We also have a dog, Harley, who is very much a part of our family.  It is my hope that all my students will leave my class with an appreciation of Social Studies that they did not have before entering.

Positions Held at MZHS:

Head Girls Track Coach.  I hope our team achieves a great amount of success this year and for many more to come.

I am currently the FCA sponsor for MZHS as well.  It is my hope to grow the Fellowship of Christian Athletes during my time at MZHS.
