Jace Jordan Named 2016 Times-Georgian All Area Offensive Player of the Year

Congratulations to senior running back Jace Jordan who was selected as the 2016 Times-Georgian Offensive Player of the Year.  The senior standout rushed for 1,228 yards and 15 touchdowns on 126 carries, averaging nearly 10 yards per carry.  He also hauled in 324 receiving yards with three touchdowns. 

Jace, a four-year starter for the Eagles, closed out his career with 3,242 rushing yards and 37 touchdowns on the ground.  He also had 8 touchdowns on special teams during his exceptional career.

Jace and his fellow seniors closed out their prep careers as the winningest class in Mt. Zion High football history, amounting 29 wins during their 4 years in the program, including the 2016 9-2 campaign that tied the school record for single season wins.
