MZHS is proud to present ten students who were recently selected to serve in the Georgia Secretary of State's Ambassadors Program at Mt. Zion High School.  The students are seniors Cameron Brown, Jodie Crews, Evy Frazier, Brandon Jones, Raquel Thomas; juniors, Cade Barrow, Marilyn Bermudez, Jana Crews and sophomores Aaron Cheatwood and Christy Cross.

SOS Ambassadors is an outreach program that will give the students the opportunity to grow as  leaders while engaging with the community.  Through the program, the students will gain leadership experience by learning and teaching Georgia civics to their peers and promoting and encouraging voter registration.  The students and their sponsor, Mrs. Crews, attended Ambassador Kick Off Event at Kennesaw State University where they were able to meet Secretary of State Brian Kemp and members of his Election Division staff.   The students were educated about voting and voter registration as well as other important topics such as public speaking, communication and planning events.
